Loose, charcoal-dark strokes twist and coil across a bare canvas, gathering into something almost figurative a shoulder, a spine, a hint of movement caught mid-shift. Rust-colored earth pigments bleed down the edges in raw, unrefined drips, while a corner of orange dotted with blue pushes in from outside, insistent and unresolved. Nothing here is settled; the whole composition feels like a body still becoming itself, form emerging from friction rather than arriving whole. There’s a rawness that resists polish on purpose the drips left to run, the charcoal smudged rather than fixed, change caught in the act rather than after the fact. Decided to Transform doesn’t show a before and after; it shows the messy middle, the moment commitment is made but the shape hasn’t settled yet. Growth, here, is less a destination than a decision lived through the hand that makes the mark.
